Siemens Simcenter Testlab 2019.1 | 5.5 Gb
Siemens Digital Industries Software announces the latest release of the Simcenter Testlab software suite, designed to help engineers make quicker decisions by increasing productivity in testing scenarios through new capabilities. It has been specifically designed to offer test teams all the capabilities they need to innovate smart products under tight schedules. Now, test-based data is used not only for validation and certification, but also earlier in the development cycle, during simulation and design.
The latest version introduces brand new technologies, as well as a series of functional enhancements. These include:
- To advance model-based development, model-based system testing uniquely closes the loop with simulation and enables system validation based on a combined physical and virtual test.
- Component-based transfer path analysis (TPA) predicts full-system noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) performance earlier in the development cycle by combining component models and measurements.
- In response to NVH challenges in vehicle electrification, the latest release covers the new minimum noise standards for Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System (AVAS), introduces active sound design to create brand-specific sounds, and enhances sound quality engineering with high-quality interactive audio and video replay.
- The latest version of Simcenter Testlab adds numerous extensions to Simcenter Testlab™ Neo software -the next platform for test-based engineering- and to the other Simcenter Testlab solutions. It sets higher standards in critical focus areas, such as greater productivity, increased confidence, better insight, and easier collaboration, maximizing the benefits of using the digital twin.
lists all the new and updated features.
The Simcenter Testlab 2019.1 release allows engineers to asses and use test-based data throughout the entire product development phases, including design, engineering, validation and certification. It introduces new technologies, as well as a series of functional enhancements, adding a dimension to the digitalization trend and effectively implementing the new role of physical testing. The release includes: model-based system testing (MBST) solutions, NVH synthesis with component-based transfer path analysis (TPA), sound design, sound quality engineering, and many more innovative enhancements.
Siemens Digital Industries Software is driving transformation to enable a digital enterprise where engineering, manufacturing and electronics design meet tomorrow. Our solutions help companies of all sizes create and leverage digital twins that provide organizations with new insights, opportunities and levels of automation to drive innovation.

Windows Operating System
Simcenter Testlab 2019.1 is supported on the following Windows 10 (Enterprise 64bit) versions:
- Window 10, version 1809
- Window 10, version 1803
- Window 10, version 1709
- Window 10, version 1703
Note: Software testing has been done on versions 1709, 1803 and 1809
Simcenter Testlab 2019.1 is also supported on Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2016 for the analysis applications. When starting the Simcenter Testlab installation program on Windows Server 2012 or Windows Server 2016, the product selection tree will contain only the analysis applications. Doing measurements with a frontend is not supported. Note that the installation on Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2016 required different prerequisites. To install those, several reboots might be needed. Siemens PLM Software has developed a genuine 64-bit version for most of the Simcenter Testlab applications, which is available on request. The 32-bit version being the advised one, the 64-bit version brings improvement in those cases of very high memory demands.
Interoperability with Microsoft Office (Word and PowerPoint)
Testlab supports interoperability with Microsoft Office 2010, Office 2013, Office 2016, Office 2019 and Office 365 Pro Plus. Office Online, the web-based variant of Officeis not supported.
