Altair FluxMotor 2019.0.0 | 1.2 Gb
Altair announces the release of FluxMotor 2019.0.0, a dedicated platform focusing on the pre-design of electric rotating machines. This release includes a variety of bug fixes and technical improvements as well as new features and tools.
The major point of this new version is the implementation of three new types of machinesinto FluxMotor:
- Synchronous Machines with Permanent magnets - Outer Rotor
- Induction Machines with Squirrel Cage - Inner Rotor
- Induction Machines with Squirrel Cage - Outer Rotor

Coupling FluxMotor HyperStudy
New Couplingsbetween Altair FluxMotor and AltairHyperStudy for the test dealing with Generator modesine wave drive:
- Computation of a working point targeted with current, control angle and speed (I,, N)
- Computation of a working point defined by a 3-phase star-connected load (R, L) and speed N
- Performance mapping of the generator behavior in the "torque-speed" area with the MTPA command mode
Flux density isovalues and potential vector isolines are displayed in tests like:
- Characterization / Open circuit / Motor & generator / Back emf
