Mountain Duck is a nifty app that can make it a lot easier to manage your cloud storage accounts and FTP, SFTP or WebDAV servers, as it enables you to mount them as local volumes and transfer files using Finder.
The application is very easy to use and runs in your menu bar, allowing you to quickly connect and disconnect from various storage services.
Mount remote storage servers as standard Finder volumes, for easy browsing and file transfers
Mountain Duck is especially useful if you need to manage multiple servers or cloud storage services at once, as switching between several interfaces can become confusing and hinder your workflow.
Once you have added them as bookmarks in Mountain Duck, however, they can be accessed just like any other local volume, so that Finder can be used whenever you want to browse their contents or copy files.
Useful tool that supports numerous popular file transfer protocols
Mountain Duck does not limit you to a single connection, as you can add as many servers or cloud storage accounts as you wish. It supports FTP, SFTP, WebDav, Amazon S3, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud and OpenStack Swift.
Configuring each bookmark is not at all difficult, provided you know the server address and the required username and password.
Unobtrusive menu bar app that is always close by when you need it
Your bookmarks can be configured and accessed from Mountain Duck's menu bar icon whenever you want to disconnect from a server, open its volume in Finder or remove it altogether.
Moreover, the app displays a detailed history of all past connections, and allows you to enable or disable Bonjour notifications.

Chipcrusher is an advanced bitcrusher, a speaker simulator and a noise machine. It has taken us a lot of effort, but we are finally proud to announce the release of our long awaited effect plugin. We hope you'll like it.

There is a wide spectrum of results achievable with chipcrusher. For example
Uniquely destroy/mangle a beat, a guitar or any other audio track.
Play single hits and emulate the sound of old samplers.
Add 'accurate dirt' to chipsounds's output.
etc.
The three main components in chipcrusher are: DAC Encoding, Background Noise and Post-Processing. The audio inputs first go through a simulation of early lofi digital audio codecs (DAC Encoding). Then it get mixed with the Background Noise to add some grit. And finally, the sound get sent through a selection of speaker and filter impulse responses that we call the Post-Processing stage. Of course, each component can be bypassed on demand without muting the audio.

WHY ALL THIS HYPE ABOUT 8-BIT SOUNDS?
Sound chips from vintage computers, arcades and game consoles had unique sonic signatures that have been shadowed by recent and "better" technologies.
Their limitations in polyphony and timbre have forced musicians of the time to come up with a series of techniques which pushed the boundaries of what they originally offered.
Those special techniques, combined with each type of chip's "imperfections" gave true personality to the music and sound effects of the 80's.
Here is a few example techniques used by classic chip music authors that has been precisely reproduced in chipsounds
Fast one-shot arpeggios with pulse width modulation and amplitude modulation.
Rapid waveform changes (also known as wavetables) for "drum-like" sounds and guitar-like leads.
Resynchronizing of envelopes and waveforms, through interrupt-based timers in order to create new evolving waveforms and odd ring modulations.
Fast sweeping glides of discreet pitch values.
Creation of a 'poor man's' 4bit sampler using rapidly changing volume function of the chips.
Chip music artists were the first to give those sounds all the fame they deserved. But today, musicians of all genres praise the unique musical behaviors of these chips.

Chipspeech is a vintage-style speech synthesizer which recreates the sound of famous 80′s voice synthesis chips. It features 12 different voices, each with its own characteristic timbre. It is specially tailored for musical needs - simply type in your lyrics, and then play on your MIDI keyboard. It's a true synthesizer, the sound can be extensively modified for easy and expressive performances. chipspeech also features a circuit bending emulation, letting you not only recreate the insane and chaotic sound of a circuit bent TI speaking device, but also use it in a controlled, musical way.

ROTTEN.ST
Rotten.ST has been in and out of British prisons since starting the cyberpunk movement in the early '80s. Although nobody really knows exactly what he was arrested for, we can only imagine it was for good reasons. Rotten.ST has a pathological relationship with any form of authority, justice, law or order. You can be sure you will find him there loudly decrying the system, clamoring against police brutality, trying to start a riot (often succeeding). He is always be the first one in the paddy wagon. When things get rough, his signature blunt weapon is a large microphone stand, which he will gladly swing towards anyone in uniform. His intentionally buzzy and electronic voice and his looks -which consists in showing off as much electronic parts as possible- are all about subverting social norms.

The Mega Drive™ - also known as Genesis™ - is a much beloved console system that brought the bright and sparkly sound of FM to the masses. It resulted in the creation of numerous fast paced and exciting soundtracks, and it still drives the creativity of composers to this day.

As we designed chipsynth MD, we couldn't help ourselves but to jam pack it with features that take it to the next level, with an access to every component of the hardware no matter how obscure, and an intelligent layering system that lets you turn any OPN2 patch into a monstrous ear-splitting 6-layer wall of sound!
CHIPSYNTH MD
MD features a bit accurate OPN2 (YM2612) emulator. We combined it with a SN76489-compatible square wave core (SPSG) and a special emulation of the very crunchy sample playback found in games, and we multiplied all of this by 6 to make it polyphonic in every situation imaginable. A complimentary VGM file player allows you to audition hundreds of vintage soundtracks just like they were meant to be heard.
Plogue's reverse-engineering team worked very hard to make sure that even the rarest corner-cases involving the special features of the OPN2 chip were emulated bit-perfectly, backed by large amounts of testing on special hardware rigs. Add the DAC and impulse-response emulation to that, and you get a degree of realism that has never been reached before!
Oh, and as always, it is done how it should: without using samples!

chipsynth PortaFM is the first member of the chipsynth synthesizer line, a bit-accurate reproduction of a vintage low-cost 2 operator FM chip (OPLL) inside a new synthesizer design. PortaFM is a unique two operator FM synth with a very quirky feature set.

The late 80's 'PSS' series was cheesy and made of plastic but had a very unique sound which was lost to time. Some of the most well known examples of synthesizers in this series include the PSS-140, PSS-270 mini keyboards and the SHS-10 keytar. Not willing to just copy the past, Plogue designed a new synthesizer that features the same sound generation found in these synthesizers, but this time with much more processing power to control and modulate its features, all in a convenient virtual instrument form.
PortaFM uses a pair of cycle-accurately emulated OPLL (YM2413) FM chip cores for its main synth engine, and another core dedicated to the the drum sounds, all of which can be layered creatively.
The unique 'lofi' quality of the OPLL was never recreated this accurately before. Plogue's experience of more than 15 years studying vintage digital sound generators was pushed to its limit. Brand new mathematical models were built using our custom Hardware-assisted systematic testing procedures by Plogue's in house reverse engineering team in Montreal.

PowerPhotos allows you to break up your Photos.app images among multiple Photos libraries, rather than having to store all of them in one giant library. You can easily switch between libraries, or just browse the photos in your libraries directly from PowerPhotos, without having to open each library in Photos.

PowerPhotos also supports searching across all your libraries at once to help track down a particular photo. If you use iCloud Photo Library to sync photos with your other devices, splitting up your library can help save on iCloud storage costs. Precise CPU Stress can stress the system in an adjustable and variable level based on CPU and RAM usage. Resource usage is displayed on a graph. The software can analyze the internal processes of the computer, and provides a good basis for performance and stability tests as well.

The idea of Precise CPU Stress is based on the CPU Stress component of the myProcesses software, and can be regarded as an upgrade of it.
The software continuously displays the stress levels of the computer's fundamental resources (CPU, RAM, Disk) for the last minute with a resolution of seconds. The current size of pagefile.sys is shown at the bottom of the window.
CPU stress can be started with the Start CPU button. The CPU stress level can be changed any time. The Stop CPU button stops the stress test.
The Exit button, the Exit menu and the ESC button immediately stops any stress tests, closes each window and closes the program.
RAM stress can be started with the Start RAM button. A new window called Memory Bomb appears. Memory Bomb starts a RAM stress test based on the level set in the RAM Stress Level menu. In the Memory Bomb context menu (Next Level), the RAM stress can be increased by a further 5%, to a maximum of 95%.
Precise CPU Stress supports Windows 7/8/10 operating systems.
In case of a 32-bit operating system, RAM stress is not supported.
