Statistical software for biomedical research with a rich set of functions, graph types and an advanced module for performing ROC graph analysis. MedCalc is designed to meet the requirements of biomedical researchers with respect to the statistical analysis of large data sets. The built-in data browser offers a comfortable means of easily managing data, variables, notes, texts and graphs, while the array of supported graphs and diagrams (scatter plots, method comparison graphs, graphs for subgroups or for up to 24 continuous variables, survival curves, serial measurement, standardized mean plots and many more) make it perfect for analyzing trends and comparing information.
One of the most important features of MedCalc is related to its ROC curve analysis capabilities. It can generate the ROC curve graph with 95% confidence bounds, calculate specificity, sensitivity, predictive values for all the thresholds, likelihood ratios, generate conclusive plots and determine the size of an area under the ROC graph. Up to 6 ROC curves can be compared, calculating the differences between the areas, the standard errors, P-values and more.
MedCalc is capable of handling missing data, creating subgroups, calculating percentile ranks and power transformation. It features outlier detection, correlation and regression tools, Bland & Altman plotting, while also enabling you to run Anova, variance ratio, mean, propertion, Chi-Square, Fisher and T-tests.
A summary of the statistical report can be easily generated and data can be placed and viewed side-by-side thanks to the multiple comparison graphs function.
MedCalc requires at least basic statistics knowledge in order to get the most out of its potential. Its extensive array of features make it a must-have tool for running method comparison studies and analyzing biomedical data.

Enter a sonic imaginarium where hard physics meets soft synth processing. Modus is a virtual world of conceptual instruments, modelled with cutting edge physical behaviours and acoustic properties.

Unreal instruments
Modus uses our latest research in collision modelling to connect acoustic elements together. Strings, plates, springs and rattles collide, literally, in algorithmic air to generate tones that resonate and react just like they would outside the virtual realm. These elements are combined in different ways to create three types of instruments.
Connected Strings
Each voice has up to four connected strings which can be plucked or act as resonators. The strings are connected by either rattles that give collision effects as the strings vibrate, or nonlinear springs. Physical parameters control the decay, mass and harmonic content along with individual semitone and fine tuning controls.
Strings connected to a Plate
This model has two strings connected to a plate using nonlinear connections that can either be rattles or springs. These strings are retuned on-the-fly to give 6 octaves of monophonic or duophonic sound. The plate can act as a soundboard by varying its decay, mass and fundamental frequency. These, along with the connection controls, can all be changed in real-time.
Driven Plates
A driver signal is used to excite the top plate, which is connected to the bottom plate with two nonlinear connections. This driver can be a polyphonic sawtooth or sine wave, or a multi-striking hit for percussive effects. There is also an option to use a single plate connected to ground.

PreviSat is a satellite tracking software whose purpose is to help you monitor and observe the position of artificial satellites in real time. The tool is able to offer predictions about satellites' passes and Iridium flares.

Straightforward interface
It features a clean feature lineup where you can view the satellites on a world or sky map.
There are also several built-in parameters that help you gather important information about the position of a satellite in different frames, osculating elements (Keplerian orbital elements), TLE (two-line element) set for computing the position of a satellite at a particular time, predictions, Iridium flares, as well as other handy configuration settings.
Main features
PreviSat offers support for two built-in modes when it comes to observing the displacement of the satellites in real time or manually setting the time for displaying satellite positions.
What's more, you can get comprehensive information about the satellite numerical position in different frames (terrestrial, horizontal, equatorial), several characteristics, such as velocity and magnitude, position of the Sun and Moon, Cartesian position of the satellite and osculation elements, apogee and perigee, orbital period, as well as info about the brightness and dimensions of the satellite.
Predictions of passes
The program gives you the possibility to calculate the passes of artificial satellites for any location on Earth by specifying the start and end date, location, Sun elevation, minimal elevation of the satellite, and other details. The results can be exported to TXT file format.
What's more, you can determine Iridium flares for a given location and view the terrestrial coordinates of the location next to your place of observation when the flare reaches the maximum level, as well as calculate orbital events and determine ISS transits with the Sun and/or Moon.
TLE tools and location settings
PreviSat enables you to manage TLE orbital elements by updating the categories of orbital elements from the Internet and uploading data from TXT, TLE, or GZ file format.
The tool lets you select between several location categories, add or delete a location or category, as well as hide or show various elements on the map (e.g. Sun, night shadow, radar, Julian date, the names of locations and satellites, coordinates).
