Cryostasis is a spectral inertia effect that can progressively smear your audio until infinitely frozen in time. It features spectral FX and controls to shape the character of the frozen tail. All are controlled by a continuously variable freeze knob or an auto switch that can be timed in milliseconds or musical measures (double-click). Freeze Time Forever.

You can use the various controls to change the sound of the freeze effect. For example, the Size parameter will change the time length of the spectral window, which completely changes the sonic character. Lower values sound unnatural and robotic, while higher values sound smooth and atmospheric.
Slow Motion
When the freeze effect is coupled with the built-in pitch shifter, it creates a tape-stop style effect, where the sound appears to slow down over time until it becomes completely frozen - forever. Or use the frequency shifter for dissonant risers and downshifters.
Ambient Dreams

Run quick, full or custom scans
Designed to be as simple as possible, Microsoft Safety Scanner runs a wizard that guides you through the steps needed to initiate a scan. You are prompted to select the type of scan to choose out of three different options: quick scan, full scan and customized scan. The quick scan only analyzes areas where it is most likely to find malicious software or files. Should any threat be found, you might be prompted to run a more through scan.
On the other hand, the full scan conducts a much more thorough analysis of the entire system, which on some computers might take hours to complete. However, if you suspect where the malicious files are located, then there is a third option that you can choose, namely to run a customized scan. During the scan, Microsoft Safety Scanner displays the files that it is currently analyzing and reveals statistics regarding the number of scanned files and the number of infections it detected. The start time and the elapsed time are shown and, at the end, a report on the findings is generated. The computer is moderately stressed during the process so you can carry out with your work simultaneously.
Microsoft Safety Scanner is effective in finding infections and potentially unwanted software but keep in mind that it cannot replace a full-time antivirus solution. In other words, it does not feature real time protection and, therefore, it cannot prevent future infections.

PowerPhotos allows you to break up your Photos.app images among multiple Photos libraries, rather than having to store all of them in one giant library. You can easily switch between libraries, or just browse the photos in your libraries directly from PowerPhotos, without having to open each library in Photos.

PowerPhotos also supports searching across all your libraries at once to help track down a particular photo. If you use iCloud Photo Library to sync photos with your other devices, splitting up your library can help save on iCloud storage costs. Use a single library to hold a smaller collection that you sync with iCloud, while keeping the bulk of your photos in separate libraries so they don't take up space on iCloud. PowerPhotos can analyze your libraries for duplicate photos, showing them to you side-by-side and letting you get rid of extra copies of photos that you no longer need

• Improved iCloud Photos support: If you use iCloud Photos, PowerPhotos 1.x was only able to see photos in your library that had already been downloaded to your local hard drive. For users with the "Optimize Mac Storage" option enabled, this could mean a significant portion of your iCloud library would not be visible to PowerPhotos. • New duplicate search engine: PowerPhotos 2.0 uses a new duplicate comparison algorithm that can find more duplicate photos which are not quite 100% identical, such as scaled down copies of photos, photos that have been resaved in a different format or with different compression, and even photos with minor edits applied to them.
• Faster library loading: PowerPhotos 2.0 has rewritten a bunch of its internals to load your library much faster than PowerPhotos 1.0.
• Improved AppleScript support: New support for copying albums or photos between libraries, merging libraries, and exporting photos/albums from a library.
