I will begin by highlighting my Christmas collection on Unsplash, a great resource for selecting wonderful photos for this project. A link to this resource is provided in the Projects and Resources section of the class.

I will then repeat the smudging process with a second photo and blend the two photos together with blend modes, showing how different blend modes produce unique and awesome effects.
Then I will repeat this process with an additional photo.
After that, I will test out blending a few of the texture overlays provided in the resources to further enhance the project.
I will finish this fantastic project by blending an image of a frosted window pane, giving this piece of art a unique look that is perfect for a Christmas or winter time piece of art.

Project Guide
Create a fantastic piece of Christmas or winter themed abstract art by smudging and blending a few photos and then adding texture overlays (if desired) and finishing your fabulous art with blending a frosted window image.
Select your images for blending as well as a frosted window image. Find my Unsplash Christmas collection HERE.
Use a favorite Procreate brush to smudge the photos. Native Procreate brushes that may work well are the Turpentine, Oil Paint, Old Brush, or Stucco brushes, all found in the Painting brushes.
Experiment with the blend modes to find the blending effect that you like best as you blend the smudged photos together.
If desired, add a provided texture overlay and blend that.
Finish by blending a frosted window.
Share your wonderful art in the project gallery. You can use a mock-up like I have below, but that is not necessary.

Cyanotypes - From Botanical Sunprint To Repeating Pattern In Procreate​

About This Class
Your class project is to create at least one botanical sunprint using cyanotype paper and pressed leaves and flowers. With these motifs you then create your pattern block in Procreate.
Description
If you've ever wanted to create a beautiful repeating pattern in Procreate but are unsure about drawing digital motifs and/or prefer creating your artwork "the old fashioned way" - this class is for you!
We will get outside into nature and collect leaves and flowers to create our lovely sunprints. You can even take your kid along and share this wonderful experience of creating art directly from nature.
We will then hop onto the computer, digitize our prints and turn our gorgeous flower motifs into repeating patterns using a foolproof and pixel-perfect method in Procreate.
At the end of the class I will show you how create multiple colourways and how you can put your pattern onto a mockup to share your design on social media! Yay!
What you will learn in this class
How to create cyanotype prints using cyanotype paper & pressed leaves and flowers
Digitizing handmade prints and transferring them into the app "Procreate"
A foolproof method of creating a repeating pattern block in Procreate
Creating different colourways from your pattern block
Putting your design onto a Procreate mockup
This class is perfect for you if you love nature and are excited about trying out new art techniques. Also if - like me - you are a mum and want to incorporate your kid into your art making and design process. Of course this goes for dads, too!
You can take this class as a complete beginner in both cyanotypes and Procreate as I will explain every step of the way. BUT - it is helpful to have a basic understanding of how Procreate works so I would recommed taking a beginner class in Procreate before you start with this class. There are tons of great Procreate beginner classes here on Skillshare and you will find some of my recommendations in the resources section.
Materials
You will need a cyanotype print kit (link is in the resources section), an Apple iPad, a stylus and the app "Procreate". Also some pressed leaves and flowers and a water container. A scanner is recommended to scan your prints but of course you can also take photos.
In the resources section you will find a premade 8x8'' Procreate canvas for creating your pattern the easy way. You will also find a colour palette, a Procreate mockup which you can use to view and showcase your designs and a lot of helpful links to products and other Skillshare classes about Cyanotype Prints and Procreate.

Esta clase introductoria es ideal para creativos/as, diseñadores/as, ilustradores/as y para todo aquel que quiera iniciarse en el tema de los estampados, ya sea para expandir sus conocimientos en diseño gráfico o textil como así también para monetizar sus dibujos e iniciar una carrera basada en diseño para superficies. Se requieren solamente conocimientos básicos de dibujo y manejo básico de Adobe Illustrator.
Saber cómo crear un rapport de estampado no solo es divertidísimo sino que va a permitir crear tu propios estampados para trabajar con estudios textiles internacionales, vender licencias, sublimar telas o aplicar a tu propia linea de productos: las posibilidades son infinitas! No te lo pierdas!

El resultado final será un patrón repetible hecho con tus propios dibujos, que vas a poder utilizar a la hora de crear tus propios textiles, papelería y muchos productos más.
Te invito a subir un proyecto a la galería donde apliques todo lo que aprendiste en la clase. Siempre es interesante ver como cada uno adapta lo que va aprendiendo a su propio estilo y manera de trabajar y crear.
Podés subir una foto de tu dibujo inicial y una foto del estampado final, con color y todo. Claro que es muy interesante ver todo el proceso de creación! Andá documentando el paso a paso con fotos a medida que vas avanzando con tu proyecto y animáte a subirlas a la galería.

Hello friends!
In this class I am teaching you how to paint ten simple loose watercolor flowers.
I am breaking these down into some really really basic shapes and strokes, so that everyone can paint them!
Even if this is your first time with watercolour, you will manage! And if you are experienced - I am pretty sure you will find some nice tips and ideas as well!
I hope you gonna love these lessons as they are quite relaxing and easy. The only thing you need to do - is to put the theory into practice and train your hand in order to have a progress with your painting skills.
As a result of the course you will be able to paint ten different flowers on loose style and apply all the techniques to painting your favourite flowers.
You could use your favourite suppliers for the course or follow my list as a guideline.
