It is an advanced application for Microsoft Windows which provides one of the best optical media emulation in the industry. Restore the functionality of Windows 10 on Windows 11, including most menus and taskbar, using this simple and straightforward patcher.


Without trying to undermine the many great features of Windows 11, working with it sometimes just doesn't feel right. Blame it on the course of habit, but the Taskbar and menus seem counterintuitive at times and you may feel that you need to take extra steps just to do an action you could do with a click of a button in previous Windows versions.
Explorer Patcher for Windows 11 is not exactly an application, but rather a DLL file that aims to restore the classic functionality of the new operating system. The patcher has been tested for the latest stable version of Windows 11, but it may work on other builds as well.
Place it in the C:\Windows folder to enable the old functionality
As the name suggests, this is not an application, but rather a patcher that you need to place in the main Windows 11 folder. According to the developer, the role of the DLL file is to enable extra functionality in the new operating system including, but not limited to the classic taskbar of Windows 10, option to hide the search bar, showing the 'All apps' list, restoring the classic power user menu, so on and so forth.
To complete the setup, you need to make sure that your Internet connection is active and restart the Explorer. At this point, the OS will start grabbing additional files from Microsoft and once the download is complete, restart the Explorer again for the changes to apply.
It comes with a configuration interface that is worth exploring
The developer added a GUI configuration option that enables you to customize the classic functionality based on your needs and preferences. To access it, access Properties available when right clicking on the Start button. Integrity Pro builds on Integrity Plus. It has the new v12 crawling engine, it checks links and generates a sitemap with all the searching, filtering and exporting functionality of the Plus version. It adds SEO details and a sitewide spellcheck. It isn't intended to replace Scrutiny, but to be pitched between Integrity Plus and Scrutiny, a more affordable step for Integrity Plus users.


There will, of course, be an upgrade from Integrity Plus, but this early public beta is simply free until the stable version is released.

Fixes a bug that could have caused spurious statuses for certain urls (caused by containing a percent symbol which isn't part of a percent-encoding, which is a bad practice anyway.)
Fixes some urls with unlikely character combinations in the querystring or path to misleadingly display in tables as the domain only
Some social and calendar 'add this' links are now listed but not checked. It's potentially not a good thing to request these urls to check them. They are major domains (eg Google, Outlook) and tend to be generated by plugins, and so more likely to give a false positive when tested than to actually be broken.

Microsoft has officially announced the availability of the final version of its Office 2024 release for Windows and Mac users. FlashBoot is a tool to make USB storage devices bootable. FlashBoot supports USB thumbdrives and USB HDDs. FlashBoot partitions, formats USB storage device and then automatically installs operating system files to it. You may create blank bootable USB flash with minimal set of system files and then manually tune it for your needs, or convert a full-featured bootable CD-ROM or floppy disk to bootable USB Flash keeping all functionality.


Why do you might want to use bootable USB flash disks?
Unlike the most bootable medias, bootable USB Flash keys are very handy: compared to floppies, they have much bigger size, speed and reliability, compared to CD/DVD discs, they are random write access devices, so you can backup your data to the same media where you booted from, without need to reformat (reburn) the entire media. Again, the cost per gigabyte for them continues to cut down, unlike CD/DVD discs.
Bootable USB flash disks are especially useful with netbooks like ASUS Eee PC which does not have builtin CD/DVD drive or an opportunity to install one. On the other hand, buying external CD/DVD drive for netbook is not a truly wise choice because it will be shifted out of use just after Windows is installed, thanks to widespread use of DVD image files and modern hard disk capacities.
Bootable USB flash disks are useful as boot devices on the "big" desktop PCs too, unlike CD/DVD discs they do not have sensible surface you could scratch, thus more reliable (especially when holding your backup data). If your sysadmin at work restricts PC to not to have CD/DVD drives, you still can boot from USB flash disk. Or if your home PC has CD/DVD drive failed, you can do it too.
There are some mobility considerations as well. If your laptop has a bootable CD/DVD drive, you can't work with it for a long time: boot device is accessed quite often, and battery power is obviously not enough to supply laser for a long time.
With bootable USB Flash disk, you don't have to obey a CD/DVD size limit of 700 or 4700 MB. You can buy a big or a small USB disk depending on your needs. Just after boot, on every PC, you may save your files to the same boot device, or restore them back. There's no need to reformat (reburn) the boot disk, you just copy files and folders, and there's no need for extra hardware for such operations. Of course you may do some things you can't do under your OS: copy/modify system files (they are busy when OS is running), reinstall OS, repartition your main hard disk etc.
