Modbus Poll is a Modbus master simulator designed primarily to help developers of Modbus slave devices or others that want to test and simulate the Modbus protocol. With the multiple document interface you can monitor several Modbus slaves and/or data areas at the same time. For each window you simply specify the Modbus slave ID, function, address, size and poll rate.

You can read and write registers and coils from any window. If you want to change a single register, simply double click the value. Or you can change multiple registers/coils. Multiple data formats such as float, double and long with word order swapping are available.

Exception errors are shown on the status line.

If you are a slave developer you can compose and send your own test strings in the "test center" and check the result from the slave in hex numbers.

OLE Automation for interfacing with Excel. To interpret and show the Modbus data according to your specific requirements. E.g. edit data in Excel and then transmit the data to your slave device! Try the Excel example.xlsm installed with the program.

PDF Split and Merge is an easy to use tool to merge and split pdf documents. Provides a grafical interface and a command line interface to spit, merge, mix and rotate your PDF documents.

PDF Split and Merge Basic is an application that you can use to perform several actions on your PDF files, including merging, splitting, rotating and rearranging pages.
The interface of the program is plain and simple. On the left side of the window you can select an action between "Alternate Mix", "Merge/Extract", "Rotate", "Split", "Visual document" and "Visual reorder".
In the list you can view the path, number of pages and version of each PDF file, after you add them (the "drag and drop" method is supported).
So, you can configure mixing options, such as reverse the first or second document, set the number of pages to switch from the first/second document to the other.
Furthermore, you can set options for merging (PDF documents contain forms), rotation (clockwise rotation for 90, 180 or 270 degrees, for all, even or odd pages) and splitting (e.g. split even or odd pages, into single pages, after specific ones, by bookmarks level).
Plus, you can open a PDF file, rearrange, extract, delete pages and save them in a new file, zoom in and out, and more.
In the "Settings" menu, you can change the interface language and theme, set the log level, set PDF Split and Merge Basic to automatically check for updates at startup, disable alert sounds, enable to ask for confirmation when the overwrite checkbox is selected, and others.
The program uses a high amount of system resources and didn't freeze, crash or pop up errors during our tests. Unfortunately, there are no guidelines available and users might have a hard time getting around PDF Split and Merge Basic's features.
The interface could use some improvements in the way that it is easier to navigate through all functions. Nevertheless, we recommend PDF Split and Merge Basic to all users.

PVS-Studio performs static code analysis and generates a report that helps a programmer find and fix bugs. PVS-Studio performs a wide range of code checks, it is also useful to search for misprints and Copy-Paste errors. Examples of such errors: V501, V517, V522, V523, V3001.

The main value of static analysis is in its regular use, so that errors are identified and fixed at the earliest stages. There is no point in wasting 50 hours looking for a bug that could be found with static analysis. So, let's point out that again - the main idea of static analysis is not to find one hidden bug on the day before the release, but to fix dozens of bugs day by day.

The analyzer can be run at night on the server and warn about suspicious code fragments. Ideally, these errors can be detected and fixed before getting into the repository. PVS-Studio can automatically be launched immediately after the compiler for the files that have been just modified.

PVS-Studio can integrate into Visual Studio development environment 2010-2017. If you use this IDE, then most likely you will just have to go to the menu of PVS-Studio plugin and choose "Check Current Project".

The application is wrapped in a clean and intuitive interface that permits anyone to quickly get used to it, displaying all the available contacts, recent conversations and calls. You can exchange emoticons and locations in addition to text, photo and video messages.

Notifications and automatic contacts finder
If you plan to carry on with your normal activity on the PC but still want to keep an eye on Viber, you will be pleased to know that it supports message notifications that pop up from the system tray. Thanks to its highly intuitive options, Viber proves to be one of the most helpful and convenient applications when it comes to chatting with friends and sending free SMS messages over the Internet.
