Eine Thematisierung der systematischen sozialen und rechtlichen Ausgrenzung von MigrantInnen fehlt ebenso wie eine intensive Diskussion in der Pädagogik und Sozialen Arbeit, welchen Beitrag sie zur sozialen Mindestsicherung für nicht-europäische MigrantInnen leisten können und wie sich das Profil der interkulturellen Pädagogik in diesem Rahmen verändert. Diese Lücken versucht das Buch schließen.
