UpdatePack7R2 - the set allows you to update the operating system, and also to integrate updates into the distribution. Can be installed on any revision of Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2, any bit depth and any language. Includes updates for all versions of Internet Explorer, all critical, recommended and security updates.

Using
The system must have at least 10 GB of free space on the hard drive and preferably not less than 1 GB of free RAM.
For flexible installation of the set, you can use the following keys and their combinations
- Key / Reboot to automatically reboot, if required.
- / S key for completely silent installation without windows and messages. The register matters.
- Key / Silent for passive installation - you can see the progress, but the installation is completely automatic.
- Key / IE11 to install Internet Explorer 11 and localize it.
- The / Temp = key allows you to specify a temporary working directory. It does not have to be empty, but it must exist.
- The / NoSpace key allows you to skip checking for free space on the system partition, it is not recommended to use it.

Examples
- You must automatically install all the updates, IE11 and restart the computer: UpdatePack7R2.exe / ie11 / silent / reboot
- You need to hide all updates to existing products, do not change the version of IE, you do not have to restart the computer: UpdatePack7R2.exe / S

The following keys are intended to integrate updates into the distribution
- The / WimFile = key specifies the location of the wim file, you must specify an absolute path.
- / Index = specifies the index of the system in the wim-file, for each index it is necessary to perform the integration again.
- The / Index = * key allows one-by-one integration of updates into all indexes of the wim-file.

Notes
- Before you specify an index, it's useful to run the command: Dism / Get-WimInfo /WimFile:C:install.wim (replace the path with your own).
- Not all updates can be integrated (see table), but they will not affect the security of the system.
Examples
- It is necessary to integrate IE11 and all updates into 1 index: UpdatePack7R2.exe / ie11 /WimFile=C:install.wim / Index = 1

Additional functionality
1. It is possible to automatically install SP1 if it is not installed on the system. To do this, you need to place the Windows6.1-KB976932-X86.exe and Windows6.1-KB976932-X64.exe files in the same directory as the set.
2. If there is UpdatePack7R2Start.cmd next to the set, it will be performed before installing updates, UpdatePack7R2Finish.cmd - after installation, UpdatePack7R2Wim.cmd - after integration of updates. By default, the console windows will be displayed. To hide them, the first line in the cmd file should start with ": hide" (without the quotes). The set of updates tracks the exit code from the cmd-files, in case of need to reboot. This code is 3010 (exit 3010).
3. If you want to apply your tweaks after installing Internet Explorer 11 on the production system, place the ie11.reg file in the folder with the set and it will be imported automatically.
4. Some keys can be replaced by renaming the file of the set itself. So to install IE11, you can add the word "ie11" to any place in the file name of the set, "-" for automatic reboot and "++" for passive installation.
Examples
It is necessary to automatically install the set on the working system together with IE11 and restart the computer: Rename UpdatePack7R2.exe to UpdatePack7R2 - ie11 ++. Exe
This will be the same as using the following keys: UpdatePack7R2.exe / ie11 / silent / reboot

VirtualBox is a general-purpose full virtualizer for hardware. Targeted at server, desktop and embedded use, it is now the only professional quality virtualization solution that is also Open Source Software. VirtualBox is a powerful virtualization product for enterprise as well as home use. VirtualBox provides are useful for several scenarios: Running multiple operating systems simultaneously. VirtualBox allows you to run more than one operating system at a time. This way, you can run software written for one operating system on another (for example, Windows software on Linux or a Mac) without having to reboot to use it.

Since you can configure what kinds of "virtual" hardware should be presented to each such operating system, you can install an old operating system such as DOS or OS/2 even if your real computer's hardware is no longer supported by that operating system.
Software vendors can use virtual machines to ship entire software configurations. For example, installing a complete mail server solution on a real machine can be a tedious task. With VirtualBox, such a complex setup (then often called an "appliance") can be packed into a virtual machine. Installing and running a mail server becomes as easy as importing such an appliance into VirtualBox.

Testing and disaster recovery. Once installed, a virtual machine and its virtual hard disks can be considered a "container" that can be arbitrarily frozen, woken up, copied, backed up, and transported between hosts. On top of that, with the use of another VirtualBox feature called "snapshots", one can save a particular state of a virtual machine and revert back to that state, if necessary. This way, one can freely experiment with a computing environment. If something goes wrong (e.g. after installing misbehaving software or infecting the guest with a virus), one can easily switch back to a previous snapshot and avoid the need of frequent backups and restores. Any number of snapshots can be created, allowing you to travel back and forward in virtual machine time. You can delete snapshots while a VM is running to reclaim disk space.

Infrastructure consolidation. Virtualization can significantly reduce hardware and electricity costs. Most of the time, computers today only use a fraction of their potential power and run with low average system loads. A lot of hardware resources as well as electricity is thereby wasted. So, instead of running many such physical computers that are only partially used, one can pack many virtual machines onto a few powerful hosts and balance the loads between them.

Windows 11. The main part of this announcement was to be a presentation of a significant user interface change, codenamed Sun Valley. As we know, a significant portion of the UX changes will be borrowed from the Windows 10X shell, and Windows 10X is not coming to market. Now, as expected, the Windows 11 information leak begins.

What's new in Windows 11
- Windows 11 will receive a completely new design. Microsoft clearly needs a good reason to reverse its past claims and still ditch Windows 10 by introducing a new operating system number. - Start and system elements will float above the bottom bar. Start is the calling card and face of every recent version of Windows. Not surprisingly, in Windows 11, developers will transform it again, but not so much in functional as in visual termthe Start window will hover above the bottom bar. We have to admit that this small change makes the appearance of the system much fresher. Judging by information from the network, Microsoft will not radically change the "insides" of this menu - the innovations will affect only the design of the window itself. The vast majority of leaks and design renders show transparency and blur in all windows, be it at least the Start menu or Explorer. Moreover, these effects are even in the assembly of the canceled Windows 10X operating system, which Microsoft was developing for devices with two screens and weak gadgets in parallel with the Sun Valley project.
